Yoga – My Experience

Yoga – My Experience

In my search for yoga on the internet I stumbled across this site:

When I first opened up the site, my initial reaction was, holy that’s a lot of yoga.

Lucky for me, I love yoga. Everything yoga all day, so I was in my happy place scrolling through their classes and learning about the different kinds of yoga.

I was really impressed. This site really has it all.

I found I was a little overwhelmed to begin with as the site has so much information and the colors go really closely together but when I started clicking tabs I was really pleased with what I saw.

I was really excited to see that they offered free yoga classes as well as paid for ones. I know that unless I know what I am subscribing to, I am not going to pay for it. It’s a great way to get a taste of the site and classes without throwing in your credit card information.

Check out some freebies here!

Another thing I really love about the website is how many classes they offer. They really make it easy for any yogi to get started with them. It is so great to be able to choose what kind of yoga you want to partake in. I know for myself, I love flow and power yoga. Whereas someone who has had injuries in the past would prefer a hatha yoga or a vinyasa yoga so they could take their time to fall into the poses better.

I feel as though I can speak for a lot of people when I say I love choices. I find that nowadays there are so many options for the same thing that when there’s one thing I don’t like, I can just move on to the next.

It benefits yoga in the same way. There are so many teachers on there and different classes that when you try it out and if one teacher or one style doesn’t work for you, you can move on and keep trying it until you find one.

Which makes it so much more exciting when you do find the teacher / style you like. Then it’s like, look at how many classes I can follow on this person. Or, you can re-live the same class.

There are a few poses that are my top favorite – what are yours?

A couple other areas I really enjoyed are that they have their own stream of yoga music! Even when I am not doing yoga or meditating I listen to yoga playlists. The people who made the music really know how to relax a person. I highly recommend you check it out.

So, a lot of positive words to be said about their site. Again, please check it out and leave me your thoughts in the comment section!

One more thing before I go,

While cruising the website I found a yoga challenge. JOIN ME! I went with the 14-day ab and booty challenge and I need support!

Check it out! Yoga Challenge!

I would be so excited to do this with someone so leave me a comment if you entered as well!

I see what you mean about it is a very interesting place and they do have a lot of classes to offer. I do know some people that are into yoga and they might want to join you in the ab and booty class I will refer them to your site.
As for me, I’m not too worried about my booty but I did find the yoga with weights interesting.

      Great Travis, thanks!

Have you tried yoga with weights? I find there are so many different variations of yoga within the last couple years. It’s nice because yoga has really opened up to anyone who wants to try. Age, gender and physical ability are no longer factors on whether or not a person does yoga.

      Thank you for the comment!
      Have a great day!

Hi. Thanks for your post! I just started yoga -Vinyasa. I can’t believe how my body is now able to stretch after only a few classes! My yoga classes are free because they come with my gym membership. Anyway, I like the idea that I can choose from whichever stream I want if I don’t like even one thing. Thanks for the article.

Hi Kahlua! You read my internet search brain. I used to take yoga weekly and found myself drifting further and further away from it and focusing more on HIIT training. I do miss the “calm” of it and started following this one chick on instagram who has got me CrAvIng it again. She has an app and everything but it’s like 60 bucks. With me “ballin’ on a budget” at the moment I look for any and everything I can get my hands on with the word “free” in front of it….so in short..Thank you! I’ll check it out and maybe join you in your yoga challenge:)

    • admin says:

Oh yea, the HIIT really targets some core muscle groups.

I agree yoga is a completely different kind of ‘work out’. My favourite part is the mental aspect you can work on too. I don’t find that as much in other work out classes.

I totally understand what you mean on the ‘free’ word. It catches my eye every time too 😉

Let me know if you join the challenge. It will definitely bring you back to the yoga mind.

      Thanks for the comment,

  8. Been dying to try yoga Now I have a place to check out and get started
